Two Weeks, Two Hours, Too Much Fun
It has been 2 weeks since I started my first real full time job. I don’t know why I waited almost a year after graduation to find a job. But I guess good things do come to those who wait and that in time, everything will fall into place.
The reason why it was difficult for me to find a job was because of my expectations. I wanted a job that will earn me what an OrCom grad should earn. Another was that I didn’t want a job that will have me sitting in a desk all day doing the same things from day 1 without any freedom to do things the way I want. I also wanted a job that will facilitate continuous learning for me with opportunities to travel while being a part of a prestigious organization.
